Lord God, your word says you think of me constantly! It's awesome. It's wonderful. To think that you cherish me constantly! When I'm walking in the light. When I turn my back on you. Your desire for me is countless. A trillion and more, are the grains of sand upon the shore! Yet, you use that as a measurement here. It is too much for me to comprehend. Your presence, too! As you are with me night and day and day and night! On and on, your love pours out!
O God, come and slay these bloodthirsty, murderous men! For I cry out, "Depart from me, you wicked ones!" See how they blaspheme your sacred name and lift up themselves against you, but all in vain! Lord, can't you see how I despise those who despise you? For I grieve when I see them rise up against you. I have nothing but complete hatred and disgust for them. Your enemies shall be my enemies!
Psalms 139:19-22 TPT
O God, you see the bloodthirsty, murderous enemies, come and slay the evil ones. I demand that they depart from me, from my family. "Get away from my friends!," I scream. The evil one and his demons stand against you, Lord God, they curse your holy name! They lift themselves high, above you! But it is all in vain! Lord, you know that I hate those who hate you. My heart breaks when I see them rising up and against you, O God. I have nothing but hatred and disgust for your enemies! Your enemies are my enemies!
God, I invite your searching gaze into my heart. Examine me through and through; find out everything that may be hidden within me. Put me to the test and sift through all my anxious cares. See if there is any path of pain I'm walking on, and lead me back to your glorious, everlasting way -- the path that brings me back to you. Psalms 139:23-24 TPT
As for me, Lord, I invite you to search my heart. Examine me thoroughly. If you discover any wickedness hidden within me, then test me, I pray. Sift through my anxious thoughts. Check my paths for pain and lead me back to you. Bring me back to your everlasting way! I choose you, O God! Thank you for choosing me first and leading me towards your heart!
