"Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever! Amen.” Ephesians 3:20
The Pastor challenged us in his sermon after reading these verses, with this question; “What would you trust God for if nothing was off limits?”
It caused me to wonder . . . can we trust God . . . to heal our broken hearts? To provide meals until the next paycheck? To keep the old beater running until we can afford a newer car? To keep on working when my energy is lagging? To be pain free? To draw us into healthy relationships? To get through today?
Yes! We serve a God who has no limits. He is able to do IMMEASURABLY more than all we ask or can imagine! We are redeemed through His magnificent gift of Jesus. We are sustained and driven by His Spirit dwelling within us.
Isaiah 40:28-29
“Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom. He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak.”
Dear Lord,
Thank you for your promises! Thank you that you don’t just provide for us but you provide IMMEASURABLY MORE than we could hope or imagine! Help us to trust you, to really trust you with everything that we have. Grow our faith, we pray. Thank you for all that you have done in our lives and are doing in our lives. We love you and trust you.
